Singer, Voice Talent, Vocal Coach, & Actress - Ayrian Gridiron is the second child of ten talented musicians and singers, The Moore Family. She is married with four children. Born and raised in Bakersfield, CA, Ayrian discovered her gift of song while singing in her church’s children’s choir. Blessed vocally she contributes her vast experiences of singing at various events, the church, CSUB University & Chamber Singers, and GMWA Youth choirs, a voice talent, a worship leader, and background vocalist as shaping her to skillfully perfect her smooth alto/ contralto sound.
Ayrian is a highly sought out background singer and vocal coach. She offers private voice lessons, is a vocal coach to individuals, choirs & praise teams , and a session singer. She has sang live background professionally for many artists including Alma Rivera, Charlin Neal, Criston Moore, Israel & New Breed, Chrystal Rucker, Crystal Aiken, Judy McCallister, Beverly Crawford, and Shervonne Wells. Ayrian has sang background and has been the vocal director for the 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, & 2019 Sharing the Harvest Benefit Concert hosted by Chrystal Rucker in Bakersfield with many award winning Gospel artists . Ayrian is also a session singer and has had the privilege to record background vocals for artists Tim Drisdelle, Sarah Kelly, Criston Moore, Charlin Neal, Jonathan McReynolds, Alma Rivera, Jordan Smith, Chiquis, and several other independent artists and music libraries. In 2019 Ayrian was contacted by Tim Davis for an event "Standards at the Standards" featuring Shoshana Bean with special guest Nikki Leonti where she had the honor to sing in a pop up choir for the event.
Ayrian began her career as a Voice Over Artist in her teens, where she had the opportunity to record and sing on a local GET Bus "Rideshare" Jingle. Along with singing she is also a Voice Over Talent. She received training from Aliso Creek Productions with instructor William Williams. Her voice is described as warm, friendly compassionate, motherly, urban, personal, professional, fun, playful, & sassy. Ayrian earned a BA degree in Sociology with a Minor in Music, and a MS degree in School Counseling. She has served as an Academy Choir Activity Leader/ STEAM Activity Leader at an Chavez Elementary School. She is currently a Music & Singing Consultant at Chavez Elementary. She enjoys teaching students the fundamentals of Music as well as songs from around the world. Ayrian, provides voice lessons, and is a session vocalist. She specializes in Contemporary Christian, Gospel, Pop, Theater, and R&B styles of singing. In 2011, Ayrian released a vocal exercise CD entitled, ExerciSING with Ayrian Gridiron: Vocal Warm-Ups for Every Singer on iTunes, CD Baby and other digital retailers.
Ayrian continues to train musically. She has taken several Studio Singer Intensive classes with music contractor Tim Davis. Ayrian has received a Certificate of Completion as a Vocal Health Instructor Level 1 from the M.A.H.I Institute conducted by Instructor Ashaala Shanae. Ayrian has completed the Kodaly Institute class at CSUB and received a certificate to be a Level 1 Kodaly Instructor. She has completed a sight reading class with Stephanie Hall and Gerarld White, as well as group coaching for straw phonation with Whitney Nichole, and artist development with Danielle Tucker.
