A great game to use for any singer that sings out of tune. Students will use a pitch monitor app to make sure they are singing the note correctly. A labeled piano app can also be used to help students know what position or octave they are using on the piano.

Instructions:
1 Print and laminate cards. Cut them out. 2 Hold up a card and have students identify how many ta and ta rests are on the flashcard. 3 Ask the students to say the rhythms that are on the card while keeping a steady beat. 4 Choose a student or have the entire class clap and say the rhythm out loud while keeping a steady beat. 5 Write 4 beat marks on the board. Have students be creative and write one measure using a variation of the Ta and Ta rest.
